But, there is also family now, which is SO much more important. Thanks for reminding us of the truth.

--BeckyFullPlateMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09293687772824676499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3887718504619028074.post-89667281281219744682010-04-20T05:40:31.580-06:002010-04-20T05:40:31.580-06:00Heather, I know exactly what you are talking about...Heather, I know exactly what you are talking about. We have brought home 3 girls from Haiti. 2 in Janurary and 1 in Feburary. You know these are your children given to you by God, but the first time they turn on you, you wonder was this what God wanted or did we jump before him. Then like you say there are those sweet momemts, which are becoming more frequent than the bad. If you have never been to Haiti you would never believe the way some of the children have to live. The children in the orphanages are the lucker ones. Our middle daughter was a restevec which to those that dont know is a child slave. She was beat very badly. Most of the time she has a beautiful smile and she happy but she does get into these sad moods that she will not let you in. I just wanted to let you know that God is with you on the bad as well as the good days and he will carry us all through. After all they are our gift from God and he is in control.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3887718504619028074.post-42801737930867941912010-04-19T07:20:09.501-06:002010-04-19T07:20:09.501-06:00Heather, I love this post!Heather, I love this post!Kara Busathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12075940677641432619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3887718504619028074.post-59937269210496319932010-04-16T22:56:06.084-06:002010-04-16T22:56:06.084-06:00An amazing post Heather. Just as we have hope for our own little family trials and helping Jackson to succeed, I have hope for you as well. Some days, when it is really tough, I hang on to that hope for dear life. She is lucky to have a mom who loves her so much.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03592479368162912917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3887718504619028074.post-60672235760818735412010-04-16T20:42:45.071-06:002010-04-16T20:42:45.071-06:00Heather, wow. I know I don't know the half of it on either side of the equation--how hard it really is or how absolutely custom made you are for this job. She is soooo very lucky to have you as her family.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09616916000023671959noreply@blogger.com
